INSOSTPACK

INSECTIUS together with partners PROMIC SAU, EROSKI, AUSOLAN, B'ZERO and KAAM are carrying out a project entitled "INSOSTPACK" subsidised by the CDTI and supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. The objective of the project is the design and digitalisation of a container for insect rearing and "in situ" valorisation of agri-food waste to obtain insect biomass for use in the food and packaging industry.

EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation

Horizon Europe – InsectFeed 2030

A collaborative project funded by the Horizon Europe programme, focused on developing new insect processing technologies for large-scale sustainable feed production. Insectius leads the work package on optimising Hermetia illucens (BSF) rearing through artificial intelligence and automation.

CDTI – Bioconversion Innovation

An R&D project funded by CDTI and co-financed with ERDF funds, aimed at improving organic waste bioconversion processes using black soldier fly larvae. The main objective is to increase conversion efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of the production process.

EU LIFE Programme

LIFE – Circular Economy with Insects

An initiative within the EU LIFE programme, dedicated to demonstrating the viability of a circular economy model based on insect farming. The project investigates the use of agro-industrial by-products as substrate for larval feed, closing the waste cycle and generating high-value products such as protein meals and organic fertilisers.
